Last date that a team may communicate a change in Level of Play. A communication will be sent to all coaches and managers by January 30th identifying all teams and their designated levels. Any change to a different level must be communicated by email to sdl.dysp@gmail.com with the words in the subject line "Change of Level - Team's Name" with both manager and coach receiving the email notification of change to SDL. |

Conflict Forms are due - no exception! The form identifies the U11-U19 Select teams (exact name, league, division) that your coach is the primary coach and whether the coach has a substitute for SDL in case of a conflict are due. The League may not be able to consider scheduling around conflicts received after this date!
NOTE: WE CANNOT SCHEDULE BYES AROUND LHGCL'S DECISION TO HAVE A TOURNAMENT THE FIRST WEEKEND THAT THE VARIOUS ACADEMY LEAGUES BEGIN - TEAMS WILL NEED TO HAVE A SUBSTITUTE COACH AVAILABLE.
With the number of academy and rec leagues in the DFW area, SDL cannot work around 1) players that also participate on other teams - if your team has less than the minimum number of players required to play (7, 9, 11) you must communicate this to Jason Dillard and receive formal confirmation that the team may participate, 2) coaches of teams in multiple academy leagues - SDL team coaches/managers may work a switch with another team on that date if a conflict arises, and 3) teams that elect to participate in a tournament during a scheduled league weekend, including rainouts, must notify the league upon acceptance so that another team may be found to take their league scheduled date. |
